Job Description
- Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
- Create, schedule, and analyze all the social media updates that are sent to the IRIS CARBON social media profiles
- Create paid marketing campaigns on social to help us reach more customers
- Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
- Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
- Work with Sr. Marketing Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist to create and implement social media strategies
- Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
- Oversee the creation and implementation of the weekly social media calendar which includes monthly objectives and initiatives
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice, and terminology
- Facilitate scaling brand and company awareness through various social media channels
- Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
- Communicate with followers and respond to queries in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related discipline
- 4-5 years of professional content curation and social media management experience
- Excellent copywriting skills
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video)
- Clear, effective communicator- verbally and in writing with the ability to be persuasive
- Proven track record of growing and retaining social audiences
- Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and key tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite or Buffer or Publer, or Zoho Social
- Excellent grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills
- Experience/consistent performance in a deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and the volume of work
- Ability to manage multiple projects and juggle priorities
- Ability to analyze and present content and social media performance
- Demonstrated ability to work productively with peers in a cross-functional capacity
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Suite
