CIPC iXBRL Reporting Module – Expert Assisted Services

IRIS CARBON® – South Africa Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) iXBRL Reporting Module enables users to upload annual reports, select and add XBRL tags from the CIPC taxonomy that is preloaded on the Platform, generate and validate iXBRL output, for submission to CIPC.

This document outlines the details of IRIS CARBON® CIPC iXBRL Expert Assistance available from the IRIS Group to authorized users of the IRIS CARBON® Platform.

Details of Expert Assisted Services

Following are the details of Expert Assisted Services that the Subscribers of CIPC iXBRL Reporting Module can access:

1. Customized online training / workshop for 4 hours
2. Ad-hoc / additional support for 4 hours

Detailed Description of each service within the Expert Assisted Services

a. Customized online training / workshop

IRIS provides Customized Training / Workshops to Company Users based on the company’s own documents. The training includes uploading the annual report, tagging the annual report using CIPC XBRL taxonomy, review, XBRL validations, and generating iXBRL output files that have to be submitted to the Regulator.

All training is conducted online through Microsoft Teams. Training materials may include, but are not limited to, self-help videos, user manuals, and recordings of training sessions, and will be provided to the users post the training session.

Note: All documentation and other training materials whether via video, audio, or other modes are IRIS proprietary materials, and are to be used only by End Users for the purpose of using the IRIS CARBON® Platform effectively.

b. Ad-hoc / additional support

Support and Expert assisted services could include any assistance needed on the use of the platform, such as:

1. Interpreting validation results
2. Queries related to new version of CIPC XBRL taxonomy, business rules, etc.
