

IRIS BushChat is an XII certified XBRL validation engine which can be plugged into any software product to test the correctness of the XBRL/iXBRL instance document including the compliance with regulator specific validations. Bushchat can be integrated in a variety of ways including via web services or APIs.
IRIS BUSHCHAT FEATURES

Ability to customize error messages and point to specific tags/line items in the instance document containing the error.

Support for custom iXBRL/XBRL validation rules. This is done by using the formula linkbase.

Validation of taxonomies including private extensions and instance documents created using extension taxonomies.

Ability to validate XBRL/iXBRL instance documents against specifications (XBRL 2.1, iXBRL 1.1 and Dimension 1.0 Formula 1.0, UTR, Extensible Enumeration 1.0, Table 1.1) and taxonomies.

Extraction of raw XBRL instance documents from iXBRL instance documents.

Data Type
Text, numerical, GIS coordinates, date/time, logical (1/0) as well as custom defined data types (for e.g. first three letter text, followed by 10 digit numeric values followed by 2 digit text)
Mandatory items
Ensures that the user does not skip this entry. He would have to put in a value for the field
Mathematical
Any kind of mathematical formulae on any of the data/group of data items present in the filing.
Range
Checks that a user’s entry is between specified lower and upper boundaries.
