HMRC iXBRL Reporting Module – Expert Assisted Services

IRIS CARBON® – UK Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) iXBRL Reporting Module enables users to upload annual reports, select and add XBRL tags from the HMRC taxonomies that are preloaded on the Platform, generate and validate iXBRL output, which can then be included in the CT-600 package that companies need to submit to the HMRC.

This document outlines the details of IRIS CARBON® UK HMRC Expert Assistance available from the IRIS Group to authorized users of the IRIS CARBON® Platform.

Details of Expert Assisted Services

The Expert Assisted Services are provided for up to 16 pages of the annual report. Following are the details of Expert Assisted Services that the Subscribers of UK HMRC iXBRL Reporting module can access:

1. Customized online training / workshop for 2 hours, using customer’s onboarded document
2. Document conversion to iXBRL

Detailed Description of each service within the Expert Assisted Services

a. Customized online training / workshop

IRIS provides Customized Training / Workshops to Company Users for the purpose of review of the documents within the platform.

All training is conducted online through Microsoft Teams. Training materials may include, but are not limited to, self-help videos, user manuals, and recordings of training sessions, and will be provided to the users post the training session.

Note: All documentation and other training materials whether via video, audio, or other modes are IRIS proprietary materials, and are to be used only by End Users for the purpose of using the IRIS CARBON® Platform effectively.

b. Document conversion to iXBRL

IRIS helps in preparing the annual reports to iXBRL format that the End Company can upload to the regulator’s portal.

1. Formatting of the document, if required
2. Conversion of the annual report to iXBRL format
3. Any assistance for queries related to document tagging

Note: IRIS also offers an Expert Assisted Services Flat Fee Package to companies (mostly relevant for companies that have annual reports of more than 16 pages). The flat fee package is recommended by IRIS where IRIS’ expert teams completely handle the end-to-end Report generation and iXBRL output creation on the Platform.

A flat fee makes the budget planning and estimation process easier for companies and hence is preferred by companies that access the Platform for UK HMRC iXBRL Reporting Module.
