Microsoft Word and Excel Disclosure Management Module – Expert Assisted Services

IRIS CARBON® Microsoft Word and Excel Disclosure Management is a collaborative platform that helps users to prepare, review, and finalize reports such as Annual Reports, Quarterly Reports, Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Reports, press releases, etc., by leveraging Microsoft Word and Excel integration with IRIS CARBON®. All updates in the Microsoft Word and Excel files are synced with IRIS CARBON® to ensure that all users always work on the latest set of data.

IRIS CARBON® Microsoft Word and Excel Disclosure Management Module – Expert Assisted Services

This document outlines the details of IRIS CARBON® Microsoft Word and Excel Disclosure Management Expert Assistance available from the IRIS Group to authorized users of the IRIS CARBON® Platform.

Expert Assisted Services included as a part of the DM Module Basic Package

The details of Expert Assisted Services that the Subscribers of DM module can access within Expert Assisted Services Flat Fee Package are described below.

This Expert Assisted Services Flat Fee Package can be availed only once and is available to users only during the first year of the contract term.

* The Expert Assisted Services Flat Fee Package consists of

  1. Document onboarding / set up for one document/report (up to 400 pages),
  2. Customized online training / workshop for 3 days, 2 hours per day, using customer’s on boarded document
  3. One monthly or one quarterly or one annual roll-forward of document
  4. 8 hours of Ad-hoc / additional support.
Detailed Description of each service within the Expert Assisted Services Package

q. Document onboarding/ set up

IRIS experts onboard and set up the company documents on the Platform, so that company users can get a ready-to-work set up to start collaborating and working on their documents.

Document onboarding/ set-up includes

  1. Creation of report-specific project
  2. Uploading all documents (Excel, Word) relevant to the project
  3. Dividing the main document into logical sections to facilitate the collaboration process
  4. Adding users, defining workflow, setting up roles, and rights across sections
  5. Creating required linkages between uploaded Excel workbooks and Word documents

b. Customized online training / workshop

IRIS provides Customized Training / Workshops to Company Users based on the company’s own documents which are set up on the Platform by IRIS experts. This makes the training personalized and highly effective, as end users are very familiar with the nuances of their own documents. The customized training / workshops includes interactive exercises for End Users to get hands-on familiarity with the Platform during the training itself, with experts reviewing /assisting wherever needed.

Ongoing refresher training is also provided with each major release on the Platform. Training on the roll-forward functionality is scheduled at the time that companies are required to use the functionality to set up their next period document template.

All training is conducted online through Microsoft Teams. Training materials may include, but are not limited to, self-help videos, user manuals, and recordings of training sessions, and will be provided to the users post the training session.

Note: All documentation and other training materials whether via video, audio, or other modes are IRIS proprietary materials, and are to be used only by End Users for the purpose of using the IRIS CARBON® Platform effectively.

c. Document roll-forward

Rolling forward document(s) which are on the Platform provide a ready template that users can work on for the next reporting period.

Document roll-forward includes:

  1. Creating a new project by cloning the data/content of an existing/finalized prior period project
  2. Updating dates and other period-related data as relevant for the new project
  3. Adding / deleting columns within tables (both in Excel and Word) as required to create the right tabular templates for the new reporting period

d. Ad-hoc / additional support

IRIS provides Ad-hoc / additional support to users that consist of any extra or on-demand assistance around documents within the Platform.

Some examples of Ad-hoc / additional support include:

  1. Document formatting support

IRIS support is available to users for formatting of their documents such as pagination, adjusting tables, paragraph spacing, etc.

  1. Data linkages between Microsoft Word and Excel

IRIS provides ongoing assistance in establishing and / or removing links between Word and Excel documents based on updates to documents by End Users, if requested by customers.

Note: Ad-hoc / additional support for Document / setup and roll- forward can be provided on-demand to users, as per their requirement.

* The above stated components of Expert Assisted Services are the standard inclusions that are offered for Disclosure Management Word and Excel Module. The users may have customized package as per the requirements in which case, they will need to refer to their respective Order Form.

“Order Form” is an ordering document issued to the End User / Company in relation to the End User / Company license to use the IRIS CARBON® Platform and avail IRIS Expert Assisted Services.
